Dr. Benjamin Stone is an internationally recognized speaker and thought leader with more than 20 years of experience translating advanced science into actionable strategies for wellness, leadership, and human performance. He holds a PhD in Human Physiology from Oxford University, with specialized training in cardiovascular genomics and metabolism, and has conducted pioneering research in cardiac risk prevention and physical resilience. At age 24, he was appointed Senior Lecturer at Oxford’s Department of Physiology, later serving in faculty and curriculum leadership roles at multiple U.S. medical and academic institutions.
In 2015, Dr. Stone co-founded Sigma Tactical Wellness, leading it as CEO until its acquisition by Telemed2U in 2025. Under his leadership, Sigma became the national authority in advanced cardiac disease prevention for first responders, developing screening and prevention protocols that have saved lives in police and fire agencies nationwide. A highly sought-after keynote speaker, Dr. Stone has presented for the FBI National Academy, the International Association of Chiefs of Police, and numerous state and national organizations. Known for his ability to connect complex science to real-world decision-making, his presentations inspire lasting change and equip leaders with practical tools to build healthier, more resilient organizations.

Public-safety professionals operate under physiological demands unlike any other workforce. Irregular sleep, chronic stress, sudden exertion, and high-stakes decision-making create a perfect storm for cardiovascular disease—now the leading cause of line-of-duty death among police officers, firefighters, and EMS personnel. Yet most wellness programs and medical screenings rely on civilian risk models that consistently fail to identify true danger in these populations.
Dr. Benjamin Stone’s wellness training was developed to close that gap.
Grounded in advanced cardiovascular and metabolic science, this education reframes “wellness” as operational readiness, resilience, and longevity. Participants are guided through the real mechanisms of heart disease—how arterial plaque forms, why inflammation accelerates under occupational stress, and why catastrophic cardiac events often strike individuals who appear outwardly fit. Complex physiology is translated into clear, actionable understanding without oversimplification or fear-based messaging.
A central focus of the program is metabolic efficiency—how the body fuels performance under stress. Dr. Stone dismantles common dietary myths and fad-driven approaches that often impair cognitive function, recovery, and cardiovascular stability in tactical athletes. Instead, participants learn how carbohydrates, fats, and proteins actually function in high-stress environments, and how improper fueling can contribute to fatigue, impaired judgment, and preventable medical events.
Beyond individual health, the training addresses leadership and organizational impact. Poor physiological resilience doesn’t just affect health outcomes—it influences decision-making, emotional regulation, and performance under pressure. For command staff, this translates directly to liability, workforce sustainability, and mission effectiveness.
This is not a motivational talk or a generic wellness seminar. It is evidence-based education designed to help public-safety professionals understand their bodies, recognize hidden risk, and make informed decisions that protect their careers—and their lives.
Stronger hearts. Clearer minds. Longer careers.
